On Tuesday, March 6th, I'll be moderating a conversation between author Sharifa Rhodes-Pitts and artist Simone Leigh at the New York Public Library as part of their "Live from the NYPL" series. Topics include the Harlem Renaissance and time travel. Should be stimulating! Discounted tickets available now here.
I'm also on a panel on art criticism at the New York Armory show with Pernille Albrethsen, Eva Diaz, Blake Gopnik, and Erlend Hammer. Starts at 2:00 on Friday, March 9th. More info here.
Plus, two articles out now in the March issues of Icon and Art in America. For Icon, I wrote about an unfinished Oscar Niemeyer project in Tripoli, Lebanon. For Art in America, I wrote about contemporary photography and the objet manqué.

Tomorrow night (January 21, 2012) I will be reading fifteen minutes of a very long novel by Miss Gertrude Stein at this marathon event to inaugurate 155 Freeman, which will house three arts organizations—Triple Canopy, Light Industry, and the Public School. Come! It should be fun.
